PGA Junior Championship by Titleist

We are proud and excited to present the 2025 edition of the PGA Junior Championship by Titleist, a 54-hole international tournament played over two days.

Date: 4-5 August 2025
Venue: Landskrona GK, Sweden

One of the major updates for this year’s tournament is that it is now part of the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), alongside the expanded format. What was once a single-day event with 36 holes has now been extended to two days and 54 holes, allowing for a more comprehensive competition and an even greater challenge.

This change reflects our commitment to providing a high-level and competitive environment that aligns with the demands of junior tournaments, while staying true to PGA’s mission to create opportunities for junior golfers to challenge themselves and grow in a supportive and professional setting.

Since its founding in 2014, the tournament has been played by many talented juniors who are now professional golfers. Among the players are Ludvig Åberg, Ingrid Lindblad, Sara Kjellker, Ellinor Südow, Adam Blommé, Kajsa Arwefjäll, Tobias Edén and many others.

Tournament fee: 750 SEK (including practice round, entry fee, welcome gift, lunch, trolley and range balls).

Terms of competition

Eligibilty:

Participants must

Be an amateur golfer in accordance with the Rules.
Be a member of a Golf Club or a National Golf Union, Federation or Association.
Have a maximum handicap of 10,0 (girls) and 6,0 (boys).

The maximum handicap limit is due at the closing time of entry.

Entry requirements:

If more players enter than there are places in the field, the selection will be made in the following order:

1. World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR)
2. SGF Golf ranking

Non-Swedish players: Maximum 8 girls and 11 boys.

WC: The organizers own 3 wild cards.

Format:

The maximum number of participants is 72 (24 girls and 48 boys). If a class (girls or boys) does not have the maximum number of entries the remaining places will be given to the other class. The format is 54 holes individual stroke play (36+18) without cut.

Decisions of ties:

In the event of a tie for the first place after the final round, a hole-by-hole play-off will be used.

In the event of a tie from 2nd place and down, the mathematical method is in use to decide the placement for prices.

Miscellaneous:

Each player is allowed one practice round within the entry fee.

Caddie is allowed.
